Paws In ParadiseBy Connor Croix (@Ravencroix)Via The Daily Prophet (@TheProphetDaily)Any cat owner can tell you how much of a burden it can be to get his or her furry companion into a carrier for a long journey. I myself have emerged from such an encounter clawed, bitten and unsuccessful as my Artemis sits smugly beside his carrier, golden eyes daring me to try again. When I heard about the Kitty Karry Deluxe, invented by Dorothea Wimble of Leeds, I simply had to see for myself if it was a product in which to invest.Miss Wimble, owner of two pampered Siamese cats, said she came up with the idea whilst travelling with them on a train to Scotland.“Reginald and Cleo are so fussy,” she explains to me, the latter of the two felines curled up in her lap. “They simply won’t settle unless they have the best!”The Kitty Karry Deluxe, Wimble continues to say, is just that. On the outside, it looks like a standard cat carrier. A look on the inside, however, is a prime example of the well-known adage, “Don’t judge a book by its cover.” The carrier has been magically charmed to comfortably fit a cat of any size. It has a built-in cushioned bed, food and water bowl, and yes, even a litter pan.“And they’ve all been given an anti-spilling charm. No mess!” Wimble adds proudly, scratching Cleo’s chocolate brown ears. “I can assure you that your cat will no longer dread travelling once he gets a Kitty Karry. In fact, I daresay you’ll have a difficult time getting him out!”Miss Wimble proceeds to tell me that she is currently making and selling Kitty Karry Deluxes from her home, but is hoping to negotiate a deal with Magical Menagerie.“I’d like to see Kitty Karry Deluxe in the shop by the summertime. It would be essential for students travelling with their cats to Hogwarts! I can’t imagine a little kitty being stuffed into a cramped basket the whole ride. Student discounts are available, by the way!”The standard Kitty Karry Deluxe is selling for six galleons, or four galleons if you are a student currently attending Hogwarts. Miss Wimble graciously offered me my very own Kitty Karry as a thanks for featuring her product in my column. As all cats are, my Artemis was quite curious when I brought home the new carrier. I left it open on the floor, allowing him to check it out himself. No more than an hour later, I found him curled up within the Kitty Karry, dozing happily. As the owner of a fussy (and admittedly quite spoiled) feline, I can vouch in favour of Dorothea Wimble’s Kitty Karry Deluxe. It is an excellent accessory to have handy. Because really, don’t our four-legged friends deserve the best?

Any cat owner can tell you how much of a burden it can be to get his or her furry companion into a carrier for a long journey. I myself have emerged from such an encounter clawed, bitten and unsuccessful as my Artemis sits smugly beside his carrier, golden eyes daring me to try again.

When I heard about the Kitty Karry Deluxe, invented by Dorothea Wimble of Leeds, I simply had to see for myself if it was a product in which to invest.

Miss Wimble, owner of two pampered Siamese cats, said she came up with the idea whilst travelling with them on a train to Scotland.

“Reginald and Cleo are so fussy,” she explains to me, the latter of the two felines curled up in her lap. “They simply won’t settle unless they have the best!”

The Kitty Karry Deluxe, Wimble continues to say, is just that. On the outside, it looks like a standard cat carrier. A look on the inside, however, is a prime example of the well-known adage, “Don’t judge a book by its cover.” The carrier has been magically charmed to comfortably fit a cat of any size. It has a built-in cushioned bed, food and water bowl, and yes, even a litter pan.

“And they’ve all been given an anti-spilling charm. No mess!” Wimble adds proudly, scratching Cleo’s chocolate brown ears. “I can assure you that your cat will no longer dread travelling once he gets a Kitty Karry. In fact, I daresay you’ll have a difficult time getting him out!”

Miss Wimble proceeds to tell me that she is currently making and selling Kitty Karry Deluxes from her home, but is hoping to negotiate a deal with Magical Menagerie.

“I’d like to see Kitty Karry Deluxe in the shop by the summertime. It would be essential for students travelling with their cats to Hogwarts! I can’t imagine a little kitty being stuffed into a cramped basket the whole ride. Student discounts are available, by the way!”

The standard Kitty Karry Deluxe is selling for six galleons, or four galleons if you are a student currently attending Hogwarts.
